The Town of Peru is pleased to offer for public review the Draft Peru Hazard Mitigation and Climate Change Adaptation Plan. The purpose of hazard mitigation planning is to reduce or eliminate the need to respond to hazardous conditions that threaten human life and property. Hazard mitigation can be a policy, action, or physical project designed to reduce or eliminate the long-term risks from hazards.
The Draft Plan will be posted at for review through August 31, 2021. You can view the draft plan by clicking on the link at the top right of this page. Paper copies of the Draft Plan are also available for review at the Peru Town Hall and Peru Library.
