The town’s cemeteries will be cleaned in the coming weeks. The Cemetery Rules explains that graves will be cleaned annually. The Rules are posted on the town’s webpage and can be found at: Boards & Committees / Cemetery Commission. This is being done to keep up appearances as well as to remove decorations and materials left on graves which could hinder lawn mowing.

Items removed will be collected in a single location in each cemetery for retrieval. After a period of time, the items will be discarded.
