The Board of Health is offering a free public health education session on Thursday May 7th from 2:00- 3:00PM in the Peru Community Room of Town Hall sponsored by the Berkshire Public Health Alliance Public Health Nursing Department lead by Sophie Carnes Jannen, NP on Fall Prevention. All are welcome to attend; no prior registration is needed. The program will consist of fall prevention basics and best practices and TUG testing to assess individual fall risk will be available. Fall prevention is important all year whether inside or outside. Prevention of falls can minimize debilitating or life-threatening injuries. Come learn ways you can keep yourself active and safe.
